Lake Michigan along Michigan’s western shore is a delightfully long stretch of sand dunes, beaches and lighthouses. The USS Silversides submarine in Muskegon, MI, is available for tours and even overnight stays. The beach and lighthouse views are from Grand Haven and Ludington.
